REEL 01 — CHEKIN ASPECT 2.39:1
Chekin · PropTech / B2B SaaS

The front desk
Chekin removed — turned into video LinkedIn stops scrolling for.

Chekin lets property managers check guests in remotely with a QR code — no one has to meet them at the door. We built the video language that explains that in seconds, not slide decks, and gave their B2B audience on LinkedIn a reason to watch.

Scene 01 — The Challenge 00:00:04:12

A product built to be invisible — which is exactly the problem.

Chekin's whole pitch is that a property owner never has to meet a guest in person: scan a QR code at arrival, verify ID, hand over a smart-lock code, done. That's brilliant for anyone running unattended apartments, villas or campsites — and hard to sell in fifteen seconds of scroll.

Chekin had the product, a growing list of hospitality-tech integrations, and no video presence built for where their actual buyers work: LinkedIn feeds of property managers and portfolio operators, not consumer Reels. This case was the first swing — prove an operational workflow tool can carry a B2B video channel on its own.

Scene 02 — The Approach 00:01:12:04

Shoot the workflow like a product demo. Cut it like a story.

01

Product storytelling

Reworked Chekin's own onboarding flow into a guest's-eye-view story: scan, verify, walk in — no narrator explaining a feature list.

02

Screen & UI capture

Real interface walkthroughs — dashboard, QR flow, smart-lock hand-off — cut at feed pace instead of demo-video pace.

03

Motion graphics

Custom overlays showing what's actually happening at the door: QR trigger → ID match → access granted, carrying the explanation visually.

04

Format versioning

Every edit built horizontal and vertical, so one story works as a LinkedIn feed post and a Meta/YouTube placement without a re-shoot.

How the reel gets made

01DISCOVERY

Read the product

Platform walkthrough, brand doc, competitor set, tone of voice — practical, direct, no hype.

02CONCEPT

Script the workflow

Turn "QR check-in" into a scene: a guest arrives, no one's at the desk, the door opens anyway.

03CAPTURE

Shoot & generate

Screen capture of the live product, supporting footage, AI-assisted plates where live shooting can't reach.

04EDIT & GRADE

Cut for the feed

Pace, sound design and a grade built for autoplay-muted scroll, not a cinema screen.

05DELIVER

Version & ship

16:9 and 9:16 exports, captioned, handed off ready to schedule — not a single hero cut.

Scene 04 — The Work 00:02:30:00

Three cuts, one story: scan, verify, walk in.

Scene 05 — The Result 00:03:10:00

What shipped

// 01

A first B2B video library

Chekin's first set of LinkedIn-native video assets — built to publish on a schedule, not as one-off content.

// 02

A repeatable format

Screen capture + motion graphics + storytelling structure any future Chekin video can reuse, including other markets.

// 03

A workflow made watchable

A genuinely operational product now has a visual language non-technical buyers actually sit through.

Detailed view / engagement metrics available on request — this reel launched Chekin's content motion; performance tracking is ongoing on the client side.
